The DW Collector’s All Maple Snare 14″x6.5″ Satin Oil Matte Black is a custom snare with ten-layer maple shell and black nickel hardware. It is part of the DW Collector’s series built in the U.S.A. The shell consists of ten layers of maple, additionally a six layer reinforcement ring is attached to both sides of the shell, which focuses the sound. The DW All Maple Snare produces a warm, balanced sound with a nice bass foundation. The typical DW professional features like a Tru-Tone snare wire the DW Mag throw-off and True Pitch tuning rods make the snare drum the right instrument for professional drummers. The shell hardware of the DW Collector’s Snare is completely black nickel plated and handcrafted, while the drum shell has a classic satin oil finish.
